I designed and developed the Creative Sweets website while working at Abstrakt Marketing Group. The project focused on translating existing marketing materials into a fully functional WordPress website that aligned with the brand’s visual identity and business goals.
I used WordPress as the core platform and customized the site using page builders alongside hand-written CSS for specific components and interactions that required more control than default styles allowed. This helped refine layouts, improve responsiveness, and create a more polished user experience. I also focused on SEO best practices, including site structure, metadata, and content hierarchy, to support long-term visibility.
The project was completed over a one-month timeline, from initial setup and layout planning to styling, content integration, and final QA. The result was a scalable, SEO-friendly website that effectively supported Creative Sweets’ marketing and online presence at creativesweets.com.

NEC Insurance is a multi-page website of a Missouri-based insurance agency that provides a variety of insurance options, which include auto insurance, home insurance, and so on. The purpose of the website is to enable the user to easily explore the various insurance options available and navigate towards requesting a quote from the insurance company in a seamless manner, as the website is designed in a manner that provides maximum clarity and ease of use.
The website was designed and developed end-to-end using WordPress. This ensured a complete and consistent look and feel throughout the site, which spans various pages and insurance services. Custom CSS was also implemented to further enhance the look and feel of the site. This involved designing and developing the site’s information architecture, page templates, and user experience to enable the user to navigate and compare various types of insurance services.
This project demonstrates my skills in taking a full website from concept to launch. It includes UX thinking as well as hands-on development.
